Day 5 in Disney: The day I rocked a poncho for a good 20 minutes!

Hey! Happy weekend to you!

Today’s post will be all about our fifth day in Disney! I’m calling this day: The day I rocked a poncho for a good 20 minutes 🙂

Michael had a fishing adventure early in the morning….so he woke up at 5:30 to head out to Lake Toho with Steve Boyd from Florida Bass Adventures. (He ended up catching an 8 lb. bass! Pretty awesome!!!!) I made plans with my sister, brother in law, and nephews in the morning to head to Hollywood Studios together!

They picked me up at my resort where I got to snuggle in between Gio and Enzo on the ride over 🙂 Such cuties!

We had breakfast at Hollywood & Vine for their Disney Jr. Play ‘n Dine breakfast buffet!! Gio was very excited to meet Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and Handy Manny. It was a fun time! However, the buffet was lacking, I even asked someone behind the buffet for some jelly or jam for my toast and she said… “we have butter, or cream cheese?” What? Lol! The fruit wasn’t looking too good either, only had honeydew melon and cantaloupe. But we asked our server for some grapes and strawberries!

They all had huge heads and little bodies, haha! But they were cute and it was a fun time!! 🙂

Afterwards, we walked around a bit and sweated our bum’s off because it was SO hot and humid that day. I felt like I needed a shower instantly! They brought me back to my room where I was greeted by Michael who was very happy and excited he caught that big huge bass! 20374567_10154789456268663_8282199782335446575_n.jpg

Once we both showered (seriously, I took like 4 showers this day especially because of how sweaty I was, haha!) we headed on over to the Grand Floridian to park our car and head over to the Magic Kingdom! Of course, the second we got off the monorail it started raining, but not pouring, just like a steady rain. I whipped out my poncho and totally rocked that thing! I mean, who says a poncho can’t be fabulous?!? When in Disney….

Shortly after (like 20 minutes) I took these pictures it stopped raining so I took that thing off. 😉 We went on Pirates of the Caribbean, had some dole whip and pineapple slices, and enjoyed our fabulous day. img_0776

We went back to our room to, yet again, take more showers! I’m telling you…it was a hot one, friends! After showering and resting a bit, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom for the night!

Dinner was at Be Our Guest. I absolutely LOVE this place. The restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful. Every single detail is amazing!

We each got a glass of champagne, and dug into the bread basket because we were starving! Cheers!!

For my meal, I ordered a salad with a side of steamed carrots, broccoli, and asparagus. It was good!!

Once we were done dinner we got to go in the West Wing to meet Beast and take pictures with him. I was so excited!!

We met up with my sister, brother in law, and nephews to ride Thunder Mountain! Gio went with Uncle Michael and I got to ride with my sister!! It was SO fun, and definitely longer than the last time I was on. Gio loved it and was all smiles afterwards 🙂img_0818

It was almost time for the Happily Ever After fireworks to start, so Michael and I ran (well, I skipped and sang, of course) to the front of the castle to watch it. 🙂 It is just so beautiful, gives me goosebumps, and gets me all teary eyed. So magical!

Michael and I headed towards Its a Small World to take some pictures with the lanterns like in Tangled! These are some of my favorite pictures from the trip…it is so beautiful!!

Next up was Dumbo! Michael’s never been on before, so he was pretty pumped to fly on an elephant! 😉

It was another magical day in Disney!! Wish we could go back right now! 😉

Enjoy your Saturday!! Xoxo
