When you finish reading books too soon

Heyyyy!! Happy Friday to you! Finally, the weekend is so close! How has the week been treating you?

Sadly, I was struck with a major migraine yesterday afternoon, and combine that with cramps, it wasn’t a good look. I am so thankful that I work with my Mama because she let me come home to take it easy for the rest of the day. As someone who never naps unless I am sick, I actually ran to my bed when I got home and took a nap for a little over an hour. I woke up feeling somewhat better, good enough to go to the grocery store with Michael to fill our fridge with all the produce!

The rest of the night, as you can imagine, was spent watching some shows we had on DVR: Shooter, and The Challenge. Home Alone was on last night too so we watched that before bed 🙂 I am slightly obsessed with Christmas movies, and watch them all year long. Anyone else watch Christmas movies all year long?!

This morning I woke up with yet another pounding headache. Whomp whomp. And my hopes for running the 5k to submit my time for the runDisney Virtual Running Shorts didn’t happen. I had every intention to…but as I was running I felt all sorts of not well. And without giving TMI, let’s just say that my body was simply not having it. So, after I managed to run 1.5 miles, I walked on an incline for about 45 minutes for a total of 4 miles. Hey, at least I got a workout in and I could read on my Kindle! There is always tomorrow to run the 5k, if I am feeling better!

Speaking of reading, I always find myself finishing books within a couple days and then have a hard time finding another good one to read because I kind of already read so many!! I need to stop reading ALL the books, haha! The last book I talked about on the blog was Always by Sarah Jio, and since I was so into it, I finished it in two days. I didn’t know what to read afterwards, but Michael has been talking about how hilarious the book Living with a SEAL: 31 days training with the toughest man on the planet by Jesse Itzler is, so I thought, why not give it a shot? I mean, I do need to laugh! It’s an easy and quick read, and it had me laughing at the things Seal was making Jesse do, I was like picturing the scene in my head while reading. And it made me realize where my husband gets all of his craziness from..this very book! “Every day do something that makes you uncomfortable” “If you can see yourself doing something, you can do it” (Seriously, my husband says these things) After finishing it after a couple days, I was really like now what am I gonna read?! Well, thanks to my Kindle recommendations, I just randomly chose a book to sample and ended up buying It’s Always The Husband by Michele Campbell. I just started yesterday, and it’s kind of slow to get into, but I just finally got to a good part that had me not wanting to stop reading! (This is why I finish them so quickly, I’m telling you!) I’m sure by the end of the weekend I will find myself needing to start another book. Do you have any books you could recommend?!

I hope you all have a lovely FRIDAY, and a fabulous weekend ahead!! Xoxo
