Good morning and Happy Thursday to all of you beautiful people! How is your week going? Mine is flying by, only because tomorrow is officially our last day of work before the long weekend ahead! I am linking up with Amanda to join in on her Thinking Out Loud party of course!
I cannot believe it is the LAST day of August, and summer is over. It feels like just yesterday school was getting out for the summer….now kids are already back in school for the new year! Crazy!!
Yesterday was a wonderful day celebrating my sweet nephew Gio!! We had a mini birthday party for him at my sister’s house in the afternoon with cake and presents. He was so excited. My sister and brother in law decorated their house with Super Mario decorations, and it looked fantastic!! His cake was even Mario too!
Gio was very happy that Uncle Michael was able to come too! As was I 😉
I can’t believe he is already four years old! Time really does go by so fast. This was the first year he blew out his candles all by himself with no help!
He was pretty excited about what Uncle Michael & I got him 😉
My sister said Gio played with his Batman robot for an hour afterwards, so I guess it was a good present to get him! He got so many amazing things, including a Baymax costume! I think Enzo was equally as excited as Gio was with all of the partying going on. I snuck in some baby snuggles with him…and he even smiled when Uncle Michael took a picture of us! Win!!
We had to go back to work afterwards (whomp whomp) but once I got out, I went back over there for some more playtime. Gio plays Minecraft on his “puter” and it amazes me how he can do that at 4 years old! What!?!?! Michael & I went to the grocery store before dinner, our fridge was looking pretty bare and sad. Don’t worry, it is fully stocked now 🙂 The rest of the night was spent catching up on some shows, like Shooter and The Challenge.
I was super tired last night, and I woke up feeling even more tired..and super sore. Blah. Even though I could have skipped a workout this morning because of being tired and sore, I pushed past it and figured it would help my soreness if I got movin’. So, a 40 minute run/incline walk it was, followed by lots of stretching.
I am looking forward to the new season of Live with Kelly and Ryan, and I hope they don’t have horrible cohosts on for a very very long time. 😉
I hope you all have a fabulous last day of August!! Make it a great one no matter what! Xoxo
