The first weekend of fall

Well, well, well, Monday…we meet again. The weekend just flies by, doesn’t it?! How was your first weekend of fall?! This weekend sure didn’t feel like it was the first one of fall around here, as it felt like SUMMER! It is hot hot hot!! And I love it!

To be honest, my weekend was definitely not the most pleasant, more like stressful. You probably all remember when I traded my old leased Jetta in for a new leased Tiguan back in July? Well, I obviously had some payments left over, but it wasn’t a large amount. Now apparently VW took it upon themselves to add on an additional couple thousand dollars onto that amount and not bill me for it. What do you mean “not” bill you for it, do you ask?! Well, I never got a bill in the mail, and after checking my account (which, thank God I did, because if not I would have been in T-R-O-U-B-L-E!), it is due pretty much next week. OMG! Something does not add up correctly, and if I would have known that this was going to happen, I wouldn’t have gotten a new car. So of course, since I looked at my account on a Saturday afternoon, I was basically in panic stress mode all weekend worrying about this because I couldn’t call them until this morning. Let me tell you, I have learned my lesson, and I will not open any more bills or anything related on the weekend, ever again!

And now to top all that off, last night I got a bunch of emails from Chase Visa warning me that they detected fraud on my Disney Visa card! OMG. OMG. Luckily, they are available 24/7 (thanks, Chase!), so I called right away (it was 10pm last night) and got my card shut off and the charges declined. How scary, right?! After that, I certainly had a hard time falling asleep. I don’t know if I can take anymore money related issues right now. This is all a bit too much for one weekend. Now today, I am trying to figure out the car situation, because let’s be honest…I do not know how I am going to whip out a couple thousand dollars PLUS my regular car payment (oh and lucky me, property tax is due October 2 as well as my regular car payment, so it is outrageously high…YAY?). My Dad is beyond amazing, and came to my rescue yet again and is trying to figure this all out with the dealership and all that stuff. So, now we wait to see what happens. Fun, right?!

Anyways, this past weekend has looked a lot like any other weekend around here: lots of play time with my nephews and relaxation. Yes, I realize the only pictures I took all weekend were of my nephews, which usually happens around here. Haha.

Friday after work I headed over to my sister’s house for some snuggle time. Enzo now says “cheese” when you snap a picture of him. It is THE. CUTEST. EVER!!!!!!!

Saturday after work I ran a bunch of errands, went over to my parent’s house for some company, and hung around at home for the rest of the night. Luckily, I had a bunch of Real Housewives of Orange County and a WAGS Miami to catch up on! Ummm…I have to say, I still cannot stand Shannon. Like, get over yourself. I agree with Lydia that she ALWAYS has to make it about her….she is somethin’ else!455ff7ec-9b5f-4114-8c0e-d89443a79444-lydia-rhoc-not-gonna-get-along.gif

Sunday involved a trip to the grocery store with my Dad, then I went over to my sister’s house for some morning snuggles and more playtime!! I even brought cookies 😉

CHEESE!!! Oh my heart, how adorable are these two sweet boys?! My sister and I took them on an adventure to Victoria’s Secret, and for once I returned something and I walked out after not buying one thing! Winnnnnn!

The rest of my day was spent watching some FOOTBALL with my husband! I don’t want to get political on here, but I don’t agree with what is going on about the whole NFL protest and kneeling during The National Anthem. I get they want to “support each other and be in unity“, but c’mon!! You live in America. STAND UP.

THANK YOU to those Patriots who interlocked their arms and stood. You are the real winners here!

Alright, well since today is still “my weekend”, I am off to enjoy this day! I hope you all do the same, and make it a great one, my friends! Xoxo
