Good morning! Happy Wednesday!! We are half way to the weekend!!
I hope you are having a great week! I didn’t get around to blogging yesterday, pretty much because I felt there wasn’t really anything excited to write about, but such is life! I’ll give you a little recap of what’s been going on around here from relaxing, to working out, watching movies, and staying up past my usual bedtime!
Monday went exactly like I had expected; it was a very chill day, and I basically did nothing besides get my nails done, lay around, and hang out with Michael. We watched Baby Driver, and I really liked it! I had no idea what it was about beforehand, but it kept me awake until after 11pm, so I guess that tells you how much I liked it! 😉
Tuesday morning started with a fun workout I created right before I got to it! It looked like this: Run .5 miles, perform each exercise 30 times each: jumping jacks, squats, high knees, crunches, v-sits, push ups, mountain climbers, burpees. I repeated this circuit 3 times through, and ran another .5 miles when I was finished. It made time go by super fast since I was always changing it up! After I showered and got ready, I headed to my sister’s house to bring Gio to school! 🙂
I worked during the day, then mid afternoon Michael and I went to the farm stand to get some fruit and vegetables since they always seem fresher from there rather than the grocery store!
I have been pretty tired, I have no idea why, maybe it’s from staying up past 9:30pm (haha), so the rest of the evening was spent lazying around on the couch, curling up in my super soft throw blanket I just got off Amazon last week, and watched Spider-Man Homecoming. It was a great movie! I usually don’t like Spider-Man movies that much, but this one kept me awake the whole entire time, which meant another “late” night around here…11pm! Woah baby!
This morning started with a 3.5 mile run, which felt like I was moving at turtle speed even though I wasn’t, because I am just feeling achy and sore and tired. I am still on antibiotics so that is definitely making my stomach kind of hurt, and my throat doesn’t really hurt as much as it did before, but I suppose maybe it’s making me feel super tired and achy too? Doesn’t really make sense to me, but whatever. Ok, I’m done whining. Anyways, after I was done my run, I stretched for a little bit and then got ready to pick up Gio for school. I know I say it all the time, but I absolutely love to start the day with him, he totally makes it a great day with his cuteness!!
Notice our coats in these pictures? Every morning this week it has been in the 40’s and pretty cold. We actually had to turn the heat on Monday morning because it was 62 degrees in our place! Yikes! Today is it supposed to warm up to the 70’s, but I definitely think summer is gone.
I’m at the store until later today, and I know I have to go to the grocery store after, but I have no idea what is up for the rest of the day. Maybe a walk in the park? Maybe more lazying around and watching movies? Who knows!
I’m subbing tomorrow at the elementary school in the afternoon, I know I know, whyyyyyy do I do this to myself? 🙁 I just feel badly saying no. But I don’t want to think about it until tomorrow because I am not ruining my day over being anxious for tomorrow. It just isn’t worth it!
