Thinking Out Loud

Trip to Urgent Care (Thinking out loud #21)

Hi! Happy Thursday! It’s ALMOST the weekend!

I hope you are all having a great week! In regular Thursday happenings on the blog, I am linking this post up with Amanda to join in on her Thinking out loud partayyyy!

Yesterday was the exact TWO MONTH mark until Christmas!!! Can you believe it?! In all honesty, I can’t believe Halloween is just NEXT WEEK! What!! I think it will be socially acceptable for me to be listening to Christmas music and watching Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas (which starts TOMORROW!!!!)…right?!?

I spent my afternoon yesterday after subbing at Urgent Care for my foot….. boo hoo. I was there for about an hour and a half…which was WAY faster than if I were to go to the emergency room around here. With all of the waiting, tests, x-rays, more waiting, I would have been there for maybe 4 hours if I had went to the ER?! Crazy.

Anyways, I just wanted to get it checked out and make sure everything was okay and no broken bones, even though it was feeling better than the day before. Luckily, NO broken bones in my foot! Yippee! The P.A. just told me that it is obviously swollen and it will be painful for the next couple of days, and she advised me to work out once I feel like there will be no pain when I do…hopefully this weekend...she also advised me that I can work but be careful standing/walking/bearing any weight, etc. because that might irritate it. SO I am just hoping it starts to feel MUCH better and I hope I have no pain anywhere by the weekend.

This morning my foot feels a little better, kind of the same as yesterday, but my LEG is killlllin me too! It must have been the way I fell or something, no idea.

I’m subbing again this morning in my nephew’s preschool classroom, and then tomorrow in a kindergarten classroom full day at a different school. The thing is, I am not sure if that is a good idea with this foot thing because I’m not sure if I will be the only teacher in the classroom tomorrow, whereas today I know there will be other teachers around if I need to take a breather for my foot, ya know what I mean?! Anyways, fingers crossed it feels totally better after this morning, and then I will be confident for tomorrow. Or else I might have to call and explain this to them?

Anyways, I am cutting this Thinking Out Loud post really short this week, because I have to get going! But of course, I won’t end this post without a picture of this cutie Gio and I on our way to get lunch for him before dropping him off at home after school yesterday 😉

Have a wonderful day! Xoxo♥
