House Hunting (Weekend Recap)

Good morning! Happy Monday to you! I hope your weekend was great, especially if you had a long weekend due to Veterans Day. Even though I didn’t get a long weekend, I still had a very good one!!

Friday, as I mentioned, we started house hunting. It will be our first home, so we don’t want to go over budget, but we want to get a nice house if you know what I mean. The problem is most homes are prettyyyyy expensive around here, and you can’t really find something that doesn’t need a lot of updating, but I know we will find something for us! We don’t want to rush the process, and we know that when it is our time we will find something that is right for us. We trust that God has the perfect house of us, at the perfect  time!il_340x270.603158262_i0wt.jpg

I worked at the store for the rest of the day, then Michael and I went to my sister’s house to play with the boys. They were thrilled to see Uncle Michael; he is like a celebrity over there. They went crazy! Enzo says “it’s a Muchael” when he sees him in person or on FaceTime (or even when it’s just me that goes over) hahaha. They are just too cute! When we got home, we snuggled up on the couch with lots of warm blankets (it was 20 degrees, guys, 20 degrees!!!) and watched the latest episode of How To Get Away With Murder. Eeeeeeeek!! It’s just so good and I just want to know what happens!!!

Saturday was another FREEZING cold day; it was 17 degrees in the morning. I haaaaaate it! I started the day with a 45 minute run, and a 15 minute ab workout. Let me tell you, you know your abs are sore when you can’t even laugh without it hurting…haha. I just love a good ab workout! I worked until mid afternoon, went over my parent’s house after (we joke that I must not see them enough at work, because even when we get out of work I still go hang out with them, hahaha). I also went to my sister’s house after for some play time!!img_2644

I went to the grocery store when I left their house, made my own salad for dinner (omg! No take out!), and snuggled on the couch with my blanket watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel!

Day eleven (Saturday) I was thankful for my family. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family, who is so supportive, loving, and encouraging. I really don’t know what I would do without them!

Sunday I stayed in bed longer than usual (can you believe it?)it was just way too cold to get out of my warm bed, and I opted for snuggles with Michael when he got home from work instead of getting up and working out right then. I eventually woke up around 8:15 (who am I?) and ran a quick 2.5 miles on the treadmill while listening to Taylor Swift’s cd 😉 then I did a 15 minute circuit workout to finish it off. My coffee was deeeeelicious, as I watched Hallmark Channel Christmas movies. img_2646

Mmmmm, coffee always tastes better when I don’t have to rush around and get somewhere. That’s what I love about Sunday’s…no work, no appointments, no school; just me, my coffee, and Christmas movies.

Michael & I went to see a couple houses with our realtor later in the afternoon, which took up most of our day. We left the house at 2 and didn’t get back until a little after 6! I then realized we didn’t even have time to buy a new Christmas tree like we had planned! (There’s always today!) We watched football for the rest of the night…and watched the Pats win before bed!

Day twelve (Sunday) I was thankful for the two dozen pink roses Michael surprised me with! Such a sweet sweet man I have!img_2655

This morning I started the day with a 40 minute walk/run on the treadmill. I kept switching up the incline and speed which made it go by super fast!I brought Gio to school, and he was just way too cute to not take a picture of this morning! I mean come on!! Just so cute!!23472265_10155214272557831_7271355813621450662_n.jpg

Now, for the rest of today, I have a hair appointment (which I am so excited about, I need a little bit of a change in my hair color), Michael and I are going to see a condo later with our realtor, and I am hoping we buy that Christmas tree we were supposed to get yesterday!!

Today (day thirteen) I am thankful for getting my hair done!! 😉 The scalp massage my hair dresser gives is just heavenly and I always feel pretty after getting my hair color refreshed!

Have a great day, friends!! Xoxo ♥♥
