Good morning! Happy Thursday! I am coming at you today feeling so blessed and so special! The age of 28 has already been amazing. 🙂 I started the morning with a 30 minute circuit workout, as well as a 30 minute mix of incline walking and running on my treadmill.
My birthday was filled with so many surprises..they just kept on coming all day long!
I woke up to balloon and sign surprises all over our apartment. It was AMAZING!!!! Michael did so well with surprising me with all of this, I called him a ninja since he somehow did all this when I fell asleep on Tuesday night. He is out of this world amazing!
My birthday run was phenomenal, given that I was running in what felt like a balloon forest! I ran 4 miles, did 10 minutes of planks and was a glistening, sweaty mess afterwards. Once I was all showered and ready to go, we went out for birthday breakfast to our favorite diner, Lou Roc’s.
Unfortunately, their fruit was looking pretty sad with only having bananas and strawberries, but it was still a great time! Michael got the “big breakfast” which comes with 2 eggs, toast, sausage, home fries, and pancakes. He asked for apple cinnamon pancakes instead of original and they were BOMB!
I went into work for about an hour to see my Mama, and was even greeted with another surprise birthday sign!! So sweet!! I was really feeling the birthday love all day long! My Dad called, so my Mom put him on speaker as they both sang happy birthday to me. It definitely felt like my birthday after that!!I went over to my sister’s house for some birthday hugs and snuggles before going to my hair appointment. Omg, you should have seen my nephews yesterday when I was getting out of my car and walking up to their house. They were at the door yelling “happy birthday!”…omg, I die!!!! So so sweet!! I just can’t get enough of them!Thank the Lord I had an appointment for a blow out. My hair was filled with dry shampoo after that super sweaty run in the morning, and I totally needed to have pretty hair on my birthday!! (Plus, I just feel better when I have a blow out, don’t you?!) Once I was done getting beautified, I came home to TWO HUGE SURPRISES on our kitchen counter!! MORE BALLOONS and TWO huge edible arrangements!!!! OMG!!!! (If you follow along on Instagram, I posted a story last week about how I texted Michael a picture of an edible arrangement, and he totally got the hint!! SCORE!) One was from Michael and one was from my Disbride Secret Pal!! OMG!! I was feeling so special and I think I was screaming in excitement for a good 30 minutes!!
I mean, look at all of that DELICIOUS fruit! I am in fruit heaven!!! This should last me a couple days (maybe) 😉
To say there is a lot of balloons in our house is an understatement. There are SO SO many!! I am loving it!!!!
Michael and I went to the Natick Mall for some birthday shopping!! First stop: Victoria’s Secret (obv).
Then we went to Tiffany & Co. so I could pick out a birthday present from hubs! Let me just say, we were treated SO EXTREMELY WELL in that store. We were served a (half) bottle of champs while we were shopping for some celebratory birthday bubbly!! I was blown away with the amazing service. Cheers!!
We shopped around for a while after I picked out my present, trying on some beautiful rings, enjoying our champs, and admiring the beautiful diamonds all over the store. I was seriously feeling so beyond special and spoiled; my husband bought me not just one, but TWO beautiful pieces of jewelry for my birthday. The surprises just kept on coming!!!
What was in those Tiffany Blue boxes?! Paloma’s Graffiti Forever Pendant, as well as the Paloma Picasso Loving Heart Earrings (to match the necklace he bought me in New York). I am in loooooooove!
By the time we were finished in there, we walked over to The Cheesecake Factory (my favorite, obv) for my birthday dinner where it was time for some more birthday drinks! I got more champs, and he got a Sam Adams Summer. Cheers!!!
We ordered the same delicious thing as last time; Thai Lettuce Wraps to start, Chicken Mango & Avocado Salad for me, and Orange Chicken for Michael. He also got a side of broccoli. I of course made a bunch of modifications to the salad, same as last time. Everything was super yummy!!
We were stuffed after our meal, but Michael made sure to order some Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake so the restaurant could sing Happy Birthday to me. 🙂 I loved it!
We ended up boxing the cheesecake, and made our way back home. It was such a special day, and all of the love I have received from my husband, my family, and my friends had brought me to happy tears last night. I really cannot believe the effort my sweet husband made to make the day so special for me. He really went above and beyond, and I am so extremely grateful! Even waking up today, I cannot stop smiling. I am so extremely blessed!!
I hope you have a fabulous day! It’s almost the weekend!! Xoxo ♥♥
