I’m back! A look into our room at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

I’m baccckkkkkk!!!!!! Did you all forget about me during this past week while I was in Disney World?! It feels like I have been gone forever, even though the last couple days spent in Disney just felt like they went super fast.

I hope you have had a great week last week, had a great weekend, and a great start to the new week ahead! I have missed blogging so much since I have been in Disney World, but I am back as you can all see. I had a wonderful time in my happy place with my husband, but it does feel good to be back home. (Never thought you would read that from me, did ya?!)

We had a really good flight yesterday out of Orlando into Worcester, and even took off on time (which never ever happens to us). By 1:40pm we were already taking off and I think that literally was a first for us…..we never take off legit ON TIME ever!

Anyways, I am definitely feeling the post Disney blues even though it does feel good to be home. If you have ever been to Disney (or on vacation anywhere, especially to your favorite place) you know what I am talking about. It’s just the fact that you don’t have a beautiful clean hotel room to sleep in every night, you don’t have someone waiting on you for every single meal, you don’t get to walk around your favorite park at any time of the day, and you don’t get to spend every day, all day having fun with your husband. It’s back to real life people, and I am definitely not looking forward to it. Whomp whomp.

It did feel good, however, to wake up this morning and get a good work out in though. Truth: I only went to the gym ONCE the whole entire week…..mouth drop! Can you believe that? The fitness center at Saratoga Springs is my favorite one that I have been to in Disney, it is huge and just really nice. Blogger fail: I didn’t take any photos of it because I didn’t want to be that creeper in there snapping pictures of random people working out. Anyways, my workout this morning was a 40 minute HIIT run on my treadmill, followed by a 20 minute full body workout. I totally have been feeling in a funk since I haven’t been working out, but I think that will go away quickly being home…hopefully! I felt great after that workout this morning for sure! I was actually really pumped up and cleaned our whole apartment all before coming to work…because, I hate coming home to a dirty place. Hate hate hate it!

And to be honest, I actually didn’t miss my Dunkin coffee as much as I thought I would. Shocker! Our coffee every morning from the Grand Floridian Cafe was AMAZING and was mayyyyybe even better than my Dunkin coffee. Can you believe it? 😉

I thought I would pop in for a quick post to share about our stay at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

Our stay at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa was absolutely fabulous! We checked in right when we arrived at the resort, which was probably around noon, and expected to wait for our room but was pleasantly surprised to hear that they had a room almost ready for us. We grabbed lunch at Artist’s Palette while we waited, but received a phone call before we were even finished eating that our room was ready. Yay! The cast member even told us they had upgraded our Studio Room to a One Bedroom Villa!! I don’t know how we got so lucky, but I think I thanked that nice man a million times because that hardly ever happens to us. It was our lucky day! Saratoga is a very big resort, and if you remember our stay there last July, we were pretttyyyyy far from everything in the resort, and the room was gross. This year was a different experience for sure and we definitely enjoyed our stay much more! We stayed in The Springs, which is close to the main pool, Fitness Center, Spa, and hospitality house. Our room was gorgeous! We had a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom. We also had our own laundry, which was fantastic so we could do laundry everyday. Our balcony had a gorgeous view where we could see the sunrise every morning.

It was such a nice room and we greatly enjoyed it!! 🙂 I would definitely recommend staying in a One Bedroom Villa (preferred room!!) at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! Stay tuned for more Disney posts!

Have a wonderful day loves! Xoxo ♥♥

  1. What a beautiful room. I really love that there is a separate bedroom so that if one person wants to go to bed early/rest during the day they can. Would you recommend that people go grocery shopping and stock up the kitchen instead of eating at the parks? I can only imaging how much money you’d save doing that. Right? 🙂

    1. Absolutely!! There are groceries stores right outside of Disney, or you can even get groceries delivered to your room so you don’t even need to actually go to the grocery store! Michael and I have never had them delivered, but I’ve heard great things about Garden Grocer. We do always hit up the grocery store to get more snacks, and cases of bottled water. We usually don’t cook in our room but with having that whole kitchen in the one bedroom villa, we easily could have and it would have saved us a good amount of money! The grocery store we usually go to is Winn Dixie…there is a Gooding’s close by too but we find Winn Dixie to be way cheaper in price! 🙂

      1. That’s great to know. I will make note of that. I honestly think I would prefer to eat at the room a little bit because of the fact that I don’t enjoy eating out all of the time. I also know that I would be on a budget when I go.
Second question … you mention that you go to the grand floridian a lot for your food have you guys considered staying there?

      2. We have stayed there in the past! We have stayed in the DVC villas, and regular rooms. We love it! I wish we could stay there every trip, but with it being a deluxe resort and pretty pricey, we usually opt to stay somewhere a little bit cheaper in price. 🙂

    2. We also stayed in a 1 bedroom villa in the Springs while at Saratoga last month. We ordered groceries from amazon prime now and it saved us a ton of money. We had cold cuts for lunch and the kids had mac and cheese. We also had fruits, water, cereal, bagels, snacks and lots of beer lol. We had breakfast in the room on most days and packed lunch to eat by the pool. We carried our water and some fruit into the parks and ate dinner while at the parks. It saved us a ton of money. We do the same thing when we stay in a deluxe studio 🙂

      1. Yes! This is awesome advice! We also carried waters into the parks and it was nice to have fruit (and tons of snacks) in our room at night or during the day! 🙂
