I saved the best post for last, because seriously this is my FAVORITE beyond FAVORITE restaurant to dine at when in Disney!

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

1900 Park Fare is located inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and is open for breakfast and dinner where guests can dine with fun Disney characters during both times of day. (I wrote about past experiences at 1900 Park Fare in these posts here, here, and here, but I figured since it is my favorite I would share some more today!) 1900 Park Fare is an all you care to enjoy buffet style restaurant, so be prepared to EAT some delicious food. It is both mine and Michael’s favorite character buffet in Disney World! And, I absolutely love going to 1900 Park Fare for Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner, because, well duh….Cinderella!!!

Just like every other Disney restaurant we dine at, I informed the hostess at check in that I was vegan and gluten free. The hostess gave me their Allergy Friendly Menu to look at while we waited for our table to be ready. Side note: I feel like with any and every character dining restaurant in Disney, you will have to wait to be seated no matter what time your reservation is at…but the good thing about 1900 Park Fare is you get to wait inside the Grand Floridian lobby, sit on one of their couches, take silly pictures (like the ones Michael so kindly took with me) and listen to the band play or listen to a talented man play the piano, and feel like a princess (or prince).

Not before long, I got a text message that our table would be ready at any time so we made our way back over to the restaurant and the hostess took us inside the BEAUTIFUL restaurant to be seated at our table. 1900 Park Fare has a carousel theme and is just so pretty!!

Once we were seated, our waitress came over to our table to get our drink order and explain the buffet to us. She also said that she would get the chef to come over to talk to me about making me something special. As we waited, we took pictures…per usual.

I made sure to type a note in my phone to remember the chef at 1900 Park Fare, because she was phenomenal. Her name was Chef Andrea, and she was out of this world. When she came to our table I told her I pretty much just liked steamed veggies, and salad. However, after talking to her for a couple minutes, she told me that she would come up with something exciting. She stressed how much she knew dining as a vegan could sometimes be difficult (I wonder if she is a vegan herself!?!), but reassured me that I was in great hands and she promised to make me something that I would love and fully enjoy…and boy was I in for a treat!! Feast your eyes on the amazing meal Chef Andrea made me that night: a pot of steamed vegetables, (with teriyaki sauce on the side) steamed white rice, and allergy friendly rolls.

I mean, LOOK at that pot of GOLD right there! Do you think I was super excited or what?!  Literally I was in vegetable heaven and I never wanted to come back. I think it literally had been over 5 years since I had a corn on the cob….what is this madness?! I LOVE corn on the cob. Mental note: must have corn on the cob more often. Chef Andrea kept coming over to our table to make sure I was both eating and loving what I was eating. I kept praising her cooking skills and her ability to make me (one picky, picky girl) excited for my meal! She asked me what I was thinking for dessert, but I was so honest with her that I was so full…but she totally did not take no for an answer. “Everyone should have dessert!” A couple minutes later she came back to our table with a beautiful plate of completely vegan chocolate cake slices, chocolate sauce, strawberries, and raspberry sorbet. OH. MY. GOSH.img_9008

Do you see that?!!? I’m telling all of you fellow vegan/gluten free eaters out there, RUN..don’t walk, to 1900 Park Fare in Disney World and have Chef Andrea create special dishes for you. You will NOT be sorry!!

Okay, now besides the amazing food at 1900 Park Fare, the characters are a BLAST!! For Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner you get to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drisella, and Anastasia. And, if you are super lucky (we only were once), you might dine there on a night Fairy Godmother makes an appearance…but that is only if you are super duper lucky. 😉 During our dinner, we got to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Treamine, and Drizella. We didn’t stay to meet with Anastasia because we would have ben waiting for probably another half hour, and I already have many pictures with her…so I didn’t want to torture Michael any longer. 🙂 😉 I kid. Anyways, ALL of the characters (even the ones at breakfast) put on a fun show for all guests dining, and are sure to make you have a great time!

I put my best mean mug face for Lady Treamine and a sassy face for Drizella. (But then laughed hysterically soon after).

1900 Park Fare is SO.MUCH.FUN. I promise you. You will not leave disappointed in the food or the characters! I highly recommend this restaurant to any and all of you who are planning to go to Disney World. This one is always at the top of our must-do list during each of our Disney trips!!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a recap of my weekend, as I am still ‘weekend-ing’ over here!!

Have a beautiful day!! Xoxo ♥♥
