Is it Friday yet?

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!! I hope your week started off well!

As you all know, Tuesday is my Monday, whomp whomp. I don’t know about you, but I am already looking forward to the weekend. Like seriously, is it Friday yet?

It’s HOT HOT HOT (mostly humid) outside today, and I so wish we were at the beach instead of work. Boo. I’m still working on that whole convince Michael to go to the Bahamas with me in 3 weeks….and I really hope it happens.

My day was great yesterday. I got to spend a little bit of time in the morning with Michael before I went to my hair appointment and he went to work. Don’t you just always feel better after getting your hair done? Yesssss girl! After my appointment, I went over to my parent’s house to visit with them for a little (because apparently I can’t go a day without seeing them, haha) and then came back home for a couple hours. I got sucked into the Hallmark Channel once again and caught the end of The Nanny Express and was cheesy smiling like no tomorrow. Obviously.tenor.gif

Once the movie was over, I went to my sister’s house for some play time and snuggles. It amazes me how much energy those boys have, even when they have no naps. Haha. Sometimes I forget how active, energetic, and crazy children are…even when they are tired! Haha!

I left there and ran some errands, then wound up back at my parent’s house to visit for a couple minutes before picking up a salad for dinner and coming back home for the night. Real Housewives of Orange County was on, so I watched some of that before tuning into the Bachelor in Paradise….HAHA oh man, that show guys. I literally cannot help myself from laughing at all of it. I haven’t watched at all this season so I don’t really know what is going on, but all I know is that it is pretty disgusting to go make out with one guy and then do the exact same to other guys right after that one. Have some class, ladies. tenor.gif

This morning started with a cardio circuit of squats, jumping jacks, burpees, high knees, and mountain climbers. (Each 30 times, repeated 3 times.) I ended with 1 minute forearm planks and high planks. After that, I hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes of sprints. I did 30 seconds on/30 seconds off, and ended it with 5 minutes of jogging and then 5 minutes of walking…so 40 minutes total. The second I got off the treadmill the power went out for about 10 minutes. Omg, can you imagine if it went out when I was doing sprints?!? HA! I would have fallen off, face flat on the treadmill. Hahaha. It’s really not funny, but since it didn’t happen I can laugh as I think about it. giphy.gif

Yesterday made a week since starting the Teami 30 Day Detox, and I must say I have gotten used to drinking tea every morning and again every other night. I still love the taste of the Skinny Tea a lot and have actually grown to not mind the Colon Tea…hey, maybe I will love the taste of it by the end! My trick is to drink it super hot (obviously, I drink all hot drinks super hot) and soak the tea bag for just about 1 minute. When I first drank it, I only soaked the tea bag for 30 seconds because I was a little afraid of what would happen. Haha. But to be quite honest, I haven’t been going to the bathroom more or anything, and I pretty much feel the same. As I mentioned before I began the Detox, I never had an issue with going to the bathroom before. I mean, I mainly eat fruit and veggies…sooooo you probably understand where I am going with this? (TMI?) Maybe if I soak the tea bag longer it would have a different effect on me, but I don’t want to overdo it on the whole bathroom thing. (You know what I mean? Like I don’t want to go even more than I already do.) Anyways, I drink the Skinny Tea every morning after my workout and about an hour and a half before I have my morning coffee. I also still get a tea sometimes from Starbucks in the afternoon. So apparently my body likes lots of caffeine. 😉 The nights I drink the Colon Tea, I do so right before bedtime (and after snack time). I am enjoying it, and hope I have some great results once the 30 days are up!

I know, I need to up my picture game. I’ve been slacking here guys. Blogger fail. I’m making a mental note to TAKE MORE PICTURES!
