Hey hey party people!! Happy FRIDAY! I hope your week has been going so well! We have made it to the end of the week once again! Let’s all do a big shimmy shake to get us in the Friday mood! Woo!! Do you have any fun weekend plans? I’m not sure what we’ll be doing, but I’m looking forward to Michael having a day off on Sunday!!
Since I didn’t write a blog post yesterday, let’s play catch up! 😉
Yesterday started with a killer workout. One of my favorite trainer’s was teaching live classes at 6am and 6:30 on obé so I tuned in for both dance and strength and then went ahead and tuned in for my usual classes I take on Thursday mornings which is circuit and sculpt. Yeah! Get itttt!
It was a super dreary, rainy, but warmer (in the 50’s?!) day and I totally admit I snuggled on the couch for most of the afternoon after I went to Target with my Mom, sister, and Enzo in the morning. Thankfully I was home in time for an AMAZING delivery from Edible Arrangements! Omg. I was in fruit heaven for real. The new owner of the store my Mom & I had is so extremely sweet and such a kind hearted person!
My afternoon was spent tuning into the most recent episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Vanderpump Rules and then watched some old school Million Dollar Listing LA episodes that were on Bravo all afternoon…and I really mean old school, they were from 2008! Whattttt! Talk about that whole 10 year challenge thing. Haha. I actually watched those episodes back in the day, but at first I was kinda like “who in the world is that? (Chad?)”….but then quickly remembered.
By the time 3pm rolled around (after being on the couch since like 1ish), I was definitely feeling sleepy and just all around blah-ish. BUT, I put on some music and got my booty up and moving around to kick that feeling away…with a dance party! Dance parties are my favorite way to kick the sluggish feeling off and get back into the groove of things. My legs were so sore from my workouts, so apparently sitting on the couch for that long made me feel even more sore…getting up and dancing around made me feel 100x better!
I even took the dance party from our place to the car and on my way to counseling. Guys, I’ve mentioned it last week but if you didn’t catch it, I haven’t gone to counseling/ therapy/ whatever you wanna call it in OVER two months. It got real busy during the holidays but I am real happy I was able to get back yesterday. I really just needed to talk and ultimately, breathe. But to be real, it’s more of like a spiritual counseling session since I meet with one of our pastor’s at our church. So it’s a win/win for me..I get the professional side, as well as the religious side too! I found it important to me when I was searching for someone back in June for someone who could share the same beliefs and values as me, and the rest is history! Counseling has been extremely good for me. You must take time for yourself and do what makes you feel happy!
Michael and I watched The Masked Singer when he came home from work a bit later than usual last night…oh my gosh, I was totally stumped on who the Poodle was. I couldn’t even tell you what my best guess was because I had no idea. I think I have a pretty good guess for the other masked singers though….what about you? Do you think you know who the masked singers are? It’s SO fun to me!!
This morning’s workout was so super duper fun and sweaty! I started with a 20 minute run, then did a sculpt class and a dance class on obé. The classes were so fun; the trainer has been a Rockette dancer for the past 12 years and she is SO motivating, fun, and energetic! I admit, I totally put my sassy pants on and channeled my inner Rockette dancer during that dance class, guys! SO FUN!! Remember when Michael and I went to NYC last December and saw the Rockette show, where I was cheesy smiling the whole entire time?! (It’s always been a dream of mine to be a dancer, so taking these dance classes makes me pretend that I can dance. HA!)
Now, I am sipping my coffee, already have a load of laundry going, and the sun is shining! It is back to being cold(er) outside, it’s in the 30’s today so that little tease of not so cold temperatures yesterday quickly changed. I am just happy it is not down pouring like it was yesterday! It is a beautiful day!
Now it’s your turn!
Do you ever watch old seasons of shows and forget who some of the people are?
Thank you so much for reading my blog today! Have a fabulous day, loves! Xoxo
