Hey hey! Happy FRIDAY! This week has gone by so fast for me, what about you? Either way, I hope you are having a great week. Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? Michael is working tomorrow but he does have Sunday and Monday off, so I am definitely looking forward to that!

Before jumping into today’s post, I have to share something with you because you know I like to keep it real with you! I’ve been struggling with some anxiety in the past couple days. It started when I was getting ready for bed on Wednesday night. I have no idea what happened or what caused me to feel this way, but I felt super anxious, and I didn’t sleep well at all on Wednesday night. Actually, I don’t even think I slept. You know when you are sleeping but you think you’re sleeping with one eye open or something? Like you are awake, almost sleeping, but not quite, I don’t even know. But yeah, that’s what happened. I was just feeling anxious all night long but once I got up in the morning and started working out I felt better. Working out helps calm my anxiety and stress and makes everything better, so you can imagine after my two hours of working out I was feeling great and all happy from those endorphins. So I went to my sister’s house to see her and my nephew Enzo before heading to my eyelash appointment, but didn’t realize I was yet again feeling super anxious until I laid down to get my lash fill and closed my eyes. Or, I should say TRIED to close my eyes. I literally couldn’t. I was like panicking and freaking out, about what? I don’t know. But I was and I didn’t really feel that great either so I told my (amazing) lash/nail lady that I kind of felt weird and really anxious so she massaged my head and neck until I felt a little better. Luckily I could still kind of open my eyes while she was putting the extensions on because let me tell you, I was really struggling. I can’t even tell you why or what happened to cause this anxiety I have been feeling, but sometimes that is just how it just comes on, no warning, no trigger or anything, just like boom! Here I am! Once I was out of my appointment I came home to breathe for a little bit before heading over to my parent’s house since my sister and Enzo were over there too. Unfortunately I still didn’t feel too good, but once I left to pick up Gio from school I was feeling much better. I took him to the park after school where I think I had just as much (if not more) fun as him. We ran around, went on the swings, and just played! I definitely needed that, especially on a day where I was feeling anxious. The anxiety subsided and I was feeling better, so I went to the grocery store after dropping Gio back home but then was struck with not anxiety, but a bad bad pulsing headache when I got home. I think feeling so anxious and not sleeping well caught up with me and caused me to get that bad headache. And then I realized that our dryer broke, which I had clothes in since 9am (8 hours later) and were still wet, so I had to bring them over to my parent’s house to dry them, so thankful I was/am able to bring our laundry over there in a time like this! And then eventually around 7:30 I told Michael I was going to lay in bed for the night and put some worship music on, because I know that always helps me feel calmer and brings me peace. A couple minutes in and my headache was finally feeling a bit better. And the great news? I was able to sleep SO WELL last night and I woke up this morning anxiety free, and headache free. Hallelujah!! Praise Jesus!

Now, enough of that! Onto today’s post!

  • Massages

Okay, you already know I love massages, but I need to bring that into today’s favorites post because my massage on Tuesday was SO GOOD! I usually like a more gentle/soft massage but I really needed a bit of a deeper one this time because my muscles were sooooo tight and so sore. Luckily I am going back in two weeks for another one because my neck, shoulders, hamstrings, glutes, and back can use it!!

Alright alright, you all know by now I live in black leggings and sweatshirts. So naturally, fall hits us and I have to buy all new sweatshirts because I can’t help myself! Luckily last weekend VS PINK was having a buy one get one FREE all apparel, so I jumped right on that and bought one sweatshirt and got one free! Score! I love THESE from there, they are just so comfy and are just cute! (I think!)

Speaking of sweatshirts, seriously you guys! I am loving these sweatshirts, they are SO GOOD, SO SOFT, and just SO EVERYTHING! They also come in so many colors, I may or may not feel like I need them all and have a bunch sitting in my shopping cart online just waiting for me to press purchase…tick tock tick tock. I have two as of right now! They are so good!

I really think that THESE babies are life changing. I probably shared these babies before, but they are too good!

  • Our new mattress (pictures were taken at the store we purchased at!)

Ahhh! It is so comfortable, and so dreamy! Literally feels like I am laying on clouds in heaven. We got THIS mattress, the king size in the pillow top plush!

And there you have it my friends, five of my favorite things at the moment! Michael and I are headed to Boston today for a doctors appointment for him, we are praying that this (new) doctor can finally help him with his salivary glands and give him some answers and relief! I hope you have a fabulous day, and an amazing weekend!! XOXO

What are some of your favorite things at the moment?!

  1. I’m so sorry to hear that you had a night of no sleep. I had a similar experience this week where I was super anxious about some scheduling issues. I knew deep down there was nothing I could do about it in the moment and that I just needed to let it go for the day and revisit it next week when there is something I can actually do about the situation. I know that might not work for you but I know I’d rather not ruin a weekend because of stress!!
Hope you have an awesome weekend and thanks for the information about the Victoria’s Secret sales!!
Let us know if we can support you in anyway through prayer and good thoughts!!
