Thanksgiving 2019

Hello! Happy Monday! Happy DECEMBER! Can you believe we are already here? I simply cannot believe this is the last month of 2019. I can honestly remember this time last year like it was just yesterday. Time flies when you’re having fun, huh!?

I hope you are feeling happy and grateful after Thanksgiving and that long weekend! I am feeling extra happy and grateful today because it is a SNOW DAY! Which means it is a super long extended weekend over here! However, I would totally be okay with having a snow day with no snow…you know, that would be really great. Haha! Are you getting slammed with snow where you are like we are here in Massachusetts? It started snowing yesterday afternoon and I guess it is going to keep on going until early tomorrow morning. I am taking full advantage of this snow day though and declaring it a GREAT DAY because that means I get to spend another day at home with Michael since he is off from work today, stay in my jammies, watch Christmas movies, and take obé classes whenever I want, which is obviously super exciting for me!

I’m popping in today to share a little bit about my Thanksgiving with you!

Thanksgiving 2019

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope you had a blessed day with family, friends, and loved ones! Do you have any fun traditions? Every year we go over to my parent’s house where we eat, hang out, laugh (a lot), and run around with the boys. This year was no different, and did not disappoint.

Michael got off from work just in time for us to head on over to my parent’s house after I was baking for the majority of the day to bring on over there!

However, sorry folks, I took no pictures of the Thanksgiving feast or of the goodies I baked. We got over to my parent’s house after they started serving the food and I didn’t get a chance to snap any pictures beforehand. But if you really want to know what it all looked like, head on over to my post from last year. I promise it was the same. Thanksgiving food is pretty much the same for everyone, right? 😉 Of course, being vegan, I didn’t really eat any of that Thanksgiving food besides fruit, veggies, and salad.

The day was great, I spent most of the time coloring placemats because you can’t put crayons and paper in front of me and think I wouldn’t partake. Haha 😉 This is the last Thanksgiving with only three girls in the family! Next Thanksgiving there will be four with my new niece and I cannot wait!! It’s crazy to think that, right?!

We stayed at my parent’s house for a while before leaving to go to Michael’s parent’s house. It was a great time; I don’t even remember the last time I saw his family so it was wonderful!

I had some outrageous sinus pressure towards the end of the night and was having a tough time by the time we got home after 9. Luckily the pressure is gone now since I have been on antibiotics so I won’t even complain about it, but it was pretty bad. At one point I thought my head was going to blow up. Haha! (Yes, I am dramatic, welcome to my life.)

It was a great Thanksgiving! I feel so blessed to have such an amazing husband and a loving (growing) family.

And now…onto Christmas!!! 🙂 XOXO!
