My Pregnancy: Weeks 31-35

Hellooooo! How are you doing?! It’s been a while, sorry my friends! I cant believe it’s been 5 weeks already since I’ve shared a pregnancy update with you, so I am popping in today to do one! I feel like with everything going on with the virus, it is making time go by so much faster. Yes, the days all feel like the same every single day and they go slow but in the grand scheme of things…days turn into weeks and weeks are turning into months! I just feel like summer has gone by SO FAST, much faster than any other and before we know it, baby Joey will be here! Ah!!! Okay, enough with the rambling, let’s get right into some pregnancy updates!

My Pregnancy: Weeks 31-35

Bump Updates:

Week 31

Baby Joey is the size of a coconut! Yummmmy!!

Week 32

Baby Joey is the size of a jicama, a bucket of popcorn, or a Care Bear!

Week 33

Baby Joey is the size of a pineapple! Mmmmm!

Week 34

Baby Joey is the size of a butternut squash, or a Tickle Me Elmo!

Week 35

Baby Joey is the size of a durian, a George Foreman grill, or the plate of spaghetti from Lady and the Tramp. Baby boy is still getting bigggg in there!

I’m still feeling really good, but around week 33 I started to get some pain in my hands and fingers which is totally weird. I didn’t think anything of it but it didn’t go away so I asked my doctor about it and she said that could happen, but will go away (probably after pregnancy). However, if my fingers hurting is the worst of this pregnancy then that is 100% okay with me! Joey is worth it all anyways! Other than that, the only other “symptoms” I am now feeling is pressure from him moving around so much, and his movements are getting much more aggressive and kind of painful because he is getting big in there and I think he is running out of room. Of course, like I said, this is nothing that is “too much” or anything, I would say though as the weeks go on the pressure is getting more intense. This happens as pregnancy is nearing the end though, and I can’t believe I am nearing the end!!

Food Cravings/ Aversions:

I’ve literally been eating dairy free ice cream every single day…and have no shame at all. HAHA. I probably shouldn’t, but it’s summer and ice cream just sounds so good, so ice cream it is! Along with that, all of my usual foods are still making an appearance. I’ve just been eating “more” than I did pre-pregnancy obviously because of this growing boy inside me!

I’m still working out every day! I don’t really know when I will stop working out so I am just going with it and listening to my body. I’m very grateful to still be able to workout throughout my pregnancy and still be feeling good enough to!

Luckily my sleeping hasn’t really changed much! I mean some nights I just don’t sleep well but for the most part, besides having to pee a couple times during the night, I can still sleep all night!

Excited about/ Looking forward to:

HIS ARRIVAL!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe I’m near the end of my pregnancy and I will be NINE MONTHS PREGNANT next week. Like what? When did that happen? In just about 5 weeks (ish) we will meet our boy and I seriously cannot wait!! It’s so crazy because we really have no idea when he will make his arrival. Some babies come early, some babies come late, and even though I have a “due date” there really is no exact “plan” of when he is coming (unless my doctor would arrange otherwise). It’s SO EXCITING!!!!!

Doctors appointments/ Updates:

I have had a couple doctors appointments since I last posted updates, but I have another one on Monday! First up is an ultrasound and then I see my doctor, and I can’t wait to see my baby boy again! After this appointment I will go EVERY WEEK because I am in the home stretch!! I would be lying if I didn’t say that I was nervous a little bit, but I am mostly excited so that is completely taking over the nerves I think. Michael still isn’t allowed to go into the doctor’s office with me which is SUCH A BUMMER, but I am grateful that he will be able to be with me during my hospital stay once Joey comes. I can’t believe we are near the end!

I hope you are having a great week and I hope you have the best weekend! XOXO!
